Dear Commissioner;

The coalition of citizens groups respectfully requests a letter from you to support HB2371/SB2464, which supports citizens’ right to vote on city annexations. Our coalition is planning to contact voters to reach out to their representatives at all levels to support this bill in this election year.

PLEASE NOTE: Based on our conversations, many county commissioners do not realize that counties LOSE money from state funding when cities annex. Learn why:

Please call/email Tommy Vallejos ( / 931-358-3010 ) President of Tennessee County Commissioners Association to publicly support Tennessee residents right to vote over parochial city interests and lobbyists.

Please email your “Letter of Support” to Coalition Members (and growing)
